The core innovation of our systems implements an automatic extraction of the contour areas where the makeup is applied on the image of the user's face, and this with a simple computer. Vesalis is the only company focused on the development of a "detection engine and analysis of the ideal face" whose "the main goal is to obtain morphological and physical evidence but also the geometric primitives of the main areas of the face (face shape, eyes, lips, etc.) and then, to apply on the image of the face some precise corrections" according to Jean-Marc Robin, one of the co-founder of the Vesalis company.
Moreover, because of the huge diversity of people and changing conditions of acquisition (materials, movements, position, lighting...), robustness is a crucial point of all our applications.
The other similar technologies are more classical and essentially based on a supervised treatment (a user or a technical Internet platform) which therefore is non automatic, longer and much less precise. In this case the simulation is non-controlled since it is multi dependent. Obviously, such systems cannot be commonly used in stores. All tests done from those conventional techniques haven't been really productive. Also, a phenomenon of lassitude tends to appear online and users seem to be bored.

FaceSpark™G2 Technology: the driven simulation of a virtual embellishment requires an automatic and in real time treatment. FaceSpark™ G2 requires advanced feature of face images treatment. In this completely new approach the treatment is done at the speed of the micro processor and the extraction of facial contours is done with a sufficient accuracy. The process lifestyle equals few seconds. So, our processing treatment loop sequentially implements three main steps: acquisition, transformation and restitution.
The Vesalis technology combines the intelligence of a scientific expertise with the intelligence of a "Man Art" of a specific field (a Makeup Artist for example) in order to establish in a very quick time the ideal esthetic corrections. Results are not depending on a human contribution or any other manipulation.
